Yes! With a diverse array of venues and amenities, Waterside District offers incredible flexibility for private events of any size or budget for up to 6,000 guests. Please visit our Private Events page for more information.
We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests. We ask that all guests conduct themselves in accordance with our Guest Code of Conduct, which prohibits the following:
• Outside food or beverage. We have plenty for you to enjoy!
• Weapons/Guns or other items that present a risk of harm to person or property.
• Pets. Humans and service animals only.
• Illegal, disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior.
• Smoking and vaping indoors. Please use designated outdoor smoking areas.
• Oversized bags or purses larger than 16x12.”
• Photography or video recordings for commercial use without prior approval by management.
• Solicitation or loitering.
Failure to comply with the Guest Code of Conduct, or other reasonable requests from management or security, may result in the loss of privilege to visit our venue.

Waterside District offers a 20% discount* to all active duty and retired military personnel who show a valid military I.D. or are in uniform, excluding alcohol. This offer is valid at Blue Moon TapHouse, Guy Fieri’s Smokehouse, PBR Norfolk a Coors Banquet Bar, The Harbor Club and the eateries in The Market, excluding The Fudgery.

Yes - Waterside District offers gift cards that can be used at the following restaurants and bars. Blue Moon Taphouse, Guy Fieri's Smokehouse, PBR Norfolk. The Market, Harbor Club. Gift Cards cannot be used at the following locations: Carolina Cupcakery, The Fudgery, Stripers Waterside, and Chipotle.
No. Some special events may require a ticket purchase.
After 9pm or during designated special events, patrons must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid id; no loitering; no weapons; no panhandling; no solicitation; no disorderly conduct including profanity or profanity on clothing; shoes and shirts must be worn at all times; no bicycles or skateboards; no professional cameras; no coolers. For any questions, please ask to speak to a manager.
PBR Norfolk is always 21+, no exceptions.

Waterside District is located at 333 Waterside Drive Norfolk, VA 23510.
The Waterside parking garage is located conveniently and safely across the street from Waterside District and valet parking is offered 7 days a week. There are also many other places to park around Waterside District and downtown Norfolk, including City of Norfolk parking garages available for both hourly and daily rates, as well as, street parking and free parking options! Free parking is available Monday through Thursday after 6pm and all day Sunday on metered spots downtown.
Parking is also available in the lot beside the Norfolk mural and at the Waterside District parking garage. The garage is adjacent to Waterside District at the intersection of Waterside Drive and Atlantic Avenue. Additional parking is offered at the Boush Street Garage, Main Street Garage, MacArthur Center and other parking garages downtown and on the street.
You can also call F.R.E.D. at 757-478-7233; a free battery-operated, state-of-the-art people mover available to riders aged 8 and up who start and end their commute in downtown Norfolk.
By Bus: The Hampton Roads Transit bus system has five routes that serve Waterside. They are routes 6, 8, 45, 960 and 961. Patrons destined for Waterside District often use the bus stop at Waterside Drive and Commercial Place, which is a short walk from Waterside District.
By Rail: The Tide light rail has a stop at MacArthur Square which is less than a 10-minute walk from Waterside District.
By Ferry: The Elizabeth River Ferry connects the downtown's of Norfolk and Portsmouth.
